Checking the Components

You may have the processor already installed into the system board. 1.

The processor should have its own heatsink attached. See Chapter 5 for

instructions on processor installation.

Your 1012G-MTF server system may have come with system memory already 2.

Next, you should check to make sure the peripheral drives and the SAS/SATA drives

and their backplane have been properly installed and all essential connections

have been made.

Checking the Drives

Check the SAS/SATA disk drives. These drives can be installed and removed 1.
