Clear BMC System Event Log
Clear BMC System Log
Select OK and press the <Enter> key to clear the BMC system log. Select Cancel
to keep the BMC System log. The options are OK and Cancel.
Caution: Any cleared information is unrecoverable. Make absolutely sure
that you no longer need any data stored in the log before clearing the
BMC Event Log.
XSet LAN Confi guration
Set this feature to confi gure the IPMI LAN adapter with a network address as shown
in the following graphics.
Channel Number
Enter the channel number for the SET LAN Confi g command.
Channel Number Status
This feature returns the channel status for the Channel Number selected above:
"Channel Number is OK" or "Wrong Channel Number".
XIP Address Confi guration
Parameter Selector
This item displays the parameter of your IP Address confi guration.
IP Address Source
Select the source of this machine's IP address. If Static is selected, you will need
to know and enter manually the IP address of this machine below. If DHCP is
selected, the BIOS will search for a DHCP (Dynamic Host Confi guration Protocol)
server in the network it is attached to, and request the next available IP address.
The options are DHCP and Static.
IP Address
This item displays the IP address for the IPMI connection detected.
XSubnet Mask Confi guration
Subnet masks tell the network which subnet this machine belongs to. The value
of each three-digit number separated by dots should not exceed 255.
Parameter Selector
Use this feature to select the parameter of your Subnet Masks confi guration.
