4-2 Removing the Chassis Cover

Removing the Chassis Cover:

Disconnect the chassis from any power source. 1.

On the rear of the chassis, remove the two screws holding the cover in place.2.

Slide the cover back, toward the rear of the chassis3.

Lift the cover off the chassis.4.

Warning: Except for short periods of time, do NOT operate the

server without the cover in place. The chassis cover must be in

place to allow proper airow and prevent overheating.
