HDD:• Indicates IDE channel activity. SAS/SATA drive, SCSI drive, and/or DVD-

ROM drive activity when ashing.

NIC1:• Indicates network activity on GLAN1 when ashing.

Overheat:• Indicates an overheating or fan failure condition when ashing.

Correcting an Overheat/Fan Fail Condition

Check the routing of the cables and move any cables the restrict airow.1.

Conrm that all fans are operating normally.2.

Verify that the heatsinks are installed properly.3.

If the chassis cover is not aligned correctly, the airow may be disrupted. This 4.

leads to overheating. Conrm that the chassis cover is placed correctly.

This LED will remain active as long as the overheat condition exists.5.
