BMC Enable/Disable

The JPB jumper is used to enable or

disable the onboard Baseboard Man-

agement Controller (BMC) and IPMI.

This jumper is used together with the

IPMI settings in the BIOS. The default

position is enabled. See the table on

the right for jumper settings.

JPG1 allows you to enable or disable

the onboard VGA connector. The

default position is on pins 1 and 2

to enable VGA. See the table on the

right for jumper settings.

Hot Swap Enable/Disable

When two X8SiT-HF motherboards

are installed in a chassis, it is possible

to power down one motherboard for

servicing while the other continues

operating. JPEN1 allows the user to

enable motherboard 'hot-swapping',

which enables this feature. The de-

fault setting is enabled.
