4-5 Installing the Motherboard

Riser Card Bracket (OEM ONLY)

The SC826 R2 chassis include a riser card that accommodates three full-height,

full-length and three low-prole cards. This riser card must be removed before

installing the motherboard.

Removing the Riser Card

Remove the chassis cover.1.

Locate the riser card that separates the motherboard compartment.2.

The riser card is held in place by three screws (two in the rear and one in the 3.

front). Remove these screws.

Carefully pull the riser card from the chassis and place the unit aside for later 4.

use.
